The 2025 Wellington Boot Carnival has been run and won and what a great advertisement it was for the western region of NSW. Over The Line Racing has poured plenty of sponsorship into the Wellington Race Club since our inception and it's a pretty proud moment to see our Day 1 Iron Horse full tab meeting go from strength to strength. It's always been a race that captures the audience as the field completes the circumference almost twice and the crowd always becomes intrigued.
This year's winner was D'ORO CHOICE who brought up win number 4 in the BM66 Hcp (2400m) with an astute ride by Clayton Gallagher. Trainer Alison Smith had her 5YO Nostradamus gelding rock hard fit and when they made the early move at the 600m he was always going to be hard to run down.
