The 2026 Wellington Boot Carnival has been run and won and what a great advertisement it was for the western region of NSW. Over The Line Racing has poured plenty of sponsorship into the Wellington Race Club since our inception and it's a pretty proud moment to see our Day 1 Iron Horse full tab meeting go from strength to strength. It's always been a race that captures the audience as the field completes the circumference almost twice and the crowd always becomes intrigued.
This year's winner was BLAZING GURU who was trained to the minute by Ross Lomax (Mudgee). Zac Warwick rated the 6YO Gallant Guru mare to perfection as they held off the fast finishing WILL TO EXCEL.
